[00:00:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, our Saturday family day has come to a screeching halt and I don't think we're ever going to get out of here.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_00]: My mom, brother, my boyfriend, and I all wanted to go to this drive through Safari in another state.

[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_00]: It was only a few hours away and a nice little day trip, so we decided we should all go on the day we had off.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_00]: 6am, and off we were.

[00:00:35] [SPEAKER_00]: That was 12 hours ago, and we were supposed to be long home by now.

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_00]: We get to the Safari and pull in easily collecting our tickets and greeting our driver who informed us which bus to be on and what time they were pulling out.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: We were super excited and managed to snag some of the best window seats around to be able to pet the animals.

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Problem was, all the windows were barred up where you couldn't even put your hands through.

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Initially we just figured it was a safety concern, and this missed it.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: We could still drop the food they gave us outside the window and we were happy enough with that.

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We boarded the bus and waited around a few minutes for the other participants to get on, and after another few minutes our driver boarded and locked the door.

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Like a full-on heavy duty lock that used a key from the inside.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned my concerns to my mother, but she dismissed me and said we should just enjoy the drive through.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_00]: This was a well-known Safari and it was probably just for safety concerns anyways.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I nodded and decided to forget it and enjoy the ride.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: It was then that I noticed the rifle sitting beside the driver on a ledge.

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It was quite large and could definitely take down a lot of animals out here, but why would they need that for a drive through they complete every day?

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I shrugged.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: We began driving, heading through the gate, and started our journey through our life altering visit.

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Joking around, taking videos and photos, getting looked through the windows.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a mess but fun nonetheless.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Until we came across the lion cage.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: It just sat there, and although we couldn't get in the cage with it, it was terrifying.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It sent a chill down my spine, and I just couldn't shake it.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_00]: My boyfriend mentioned something about its size, but I couldn't bring myself to look away from its eyes.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: They were cold and almost human-like.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Big, deep, blue eyes that stared into my soul, and made me feel like I was going to drown.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_00]: The bus suddenly jumped back into life, and we were headed off again.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly was going great until we got up to the pond.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Halfway around the pond, doing our best to count all the turtles sticking up.

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, I managed to count 120.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_00]: We heard a siren start.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It was quiet, at first, and I don't think the driver heard.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But as soon as he did, the bus came to a halt, slamming some of us forward into our seats.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: We all looked around frantically, looking for the reason of the siren has our guide literally stood up, and grabbed his gun.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_00]: He told us to get underneath the seats, and to stay put.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't look out indefinitely.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't look at the animals.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: As everyone slowly started crawling under the seats,

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_00]: you walked around dropping cloths over the windows, which nearly blacked out all of the sunlight.

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_00]: After a few painfully quiet minutes, the driver let out a scream, and something heavy slammed against the side of the bus.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Gunshots started going off.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And suddenly he slammed against the door, repeatedly hitting it until the entire thing busted off the hinges and flew open,

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: leaving a bright rectangle of sunlight where he once stood.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Except it was obstructed by a huge shadow.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_00]: A shadow that was getting closer.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: The bus dipped to the side, creaking slightly from the weight of whatever passenger was loading,

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and everyone started to scoot back further to the wall, trying to hide from whatever was now boarding with us.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Second step, third step, fourth.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It was now on the bus with us, and all I could see were very pause about the size of a bowling ball.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Huge pause that were headed right towards us blood soaked killing machines.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I peaked out and snuck a glimpse of our capture.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It was the line from earlier, but it was bigger to big for any line that ever lived and was documented.

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I was snatched back under the seat by my boyfriend who silently scolded me, but it wasn't long lived

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: as we soon heard a blood curdling scream followed by a growl.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Then a crunch, and then blood dripped on the floor.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_00]: The mother whimpered, slapping a hand cross her face to quiet herself.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_00]: But she was too late, he had heard her, and he tore through the seat to get her.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Suddenly, the entire bus was jerked forward about 15 feet.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: We were since sliding across and under the seats, my head hit the wall, and I groaned.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00]: My boyfriend ended up two seats down.

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_00]: My mother and my brother were nowhere to be found.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_00]: After a few moments, I managed to write to myself, get my bearings back, and I noticed something was missing.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: The lion.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: He must have left the bus after the massive hit, and I climbed out from under the seat.

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Another two were buss at a roll down the hill, and slammed into the back of us.

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_00]: They are driver long gone with his head, missing in the front seat by shuttered before looking under the seat for my family.

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_00]: My boyfriend crawled out under the seat, and helped me look to know a veil.

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_00]: After hearing a grail, we looked over to see the lion had boarded the other bus, so we ran towards the door on ours before noticing another lion in the trees.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I grabbed the gun that was splattered in blood at the base of the steps now, and we took off to the pond.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_00]: We hit the water, and did our best to swim across it to the other side, but we saw people running out of the park.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Except I looked back, and I couldn't find my boyfriend anymore.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: The water was completely still, and I glanced around frantically.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Then a water bottle surfaced, followed by several more, before his hands stuck out at the top and splashed around.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I grabbed it and tried to help him out, but we were both pulled under by something much larger than us.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Down to the bottom of the pond we were drunk, and suddenly a sharp turn to the side before we ended up surfacing.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It was under the water, but we had air.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Some kind of air pocket somehow, but there we found it.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably 20 other people were huddled in small groups down there, and the creature that had pulled us under went back out into the water.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_00]: People whimpered and held their loved ones close, and I guess we just followed suit.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00]: We found a corner and propped up, trying our best to ask questions to these other people.

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_00]: But no one even offered to look at us, and they point blank, refused to talk.

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I noticed one lady from earlier. She had the same purse, I'd fommed over while we were getting our tickets, and I sighed.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_00]: The rest honestly looked like they had been down there a while.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Their hair was matted, and they looked skinny, bad skinny.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The cave wrecked.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00]: We're all sitting here now.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if this will, even host.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But I remember I'd put my phone in my bag, in my bra, that just happened to be water proof enough that it still works.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's only at 21% and it won't last too long, but I'm hoping someone else who might know what's going on can help us out.
