[00:00:00] If you were to go back in time to wrong a mistake you made in the past, what would it be? Where would you go? What would you do to change it? Will you make the same mistake twice? Honestly, I wish I could do that after I made this big mistake.
[00:00:20] No, no, I didn't murder anyone, nor did I commit a felony or cause a relationship to be destroyed. It might sound petty and not very important, but it has to do with something that relates to media.
[00:00:35] Let me explain. I'm a Christian. I've been one since I was a teen. The reason I became one in the first place was because of my aunt and uncle, who are hardcore messianics.
[00:00:46] I take it seriously, but I'm not as crazy about it as my aunt and uncle are. Sometimes they think even the smallest thing that has to do with the devil could corrupt me and cause a demon to enter our very pure house.
[00:01:00] But I think it's kind of ridiculous. I mean, I don't think the devil would be that upfront about his schemes.
[00:01:08] But that's not really the point, because what this story is about has to do with something Christian-related. Particularly, a piece of media. VeggieTales.
[00:01:19] Now, now, I know. Why is a grown man talking about a show where vegetables tell lessons about the Bible, you may ask?
[00:01:28] One word. Nostalgia. VeggieTales was a show I would watch. No, pun intended. Religiously. Ever since I was very young.
[00:01:38] As a young boy, I not only watched this silly show constantly, but I had a decent amount of merchandise as well.
[00:01:45] Nothing major, just a decent collection of DVDs and even a handful of VHS tapes.
[00:01:51] Yes, I still own a VCR.
[00:01:53] But as I got older, I've grown out of the show like growing out of snuggling with a teddy bear.
[00:01:59] I thought it was too much of a kiddie thing to do.
[00:02:02] So, and let me get this out of the way.
[00:02:04] The show itself has decreased in quality from where I left off.
[00:02:09] Seriously, what is with that piece of shit in the house show?
[00:02:15] And that's where the story begins.
[00:02:20] So you want to know what I regret, right?
[00:02:23] Well, it all started when I went into the attic to do some cleaning.
[00:02:28] And in a box, I found the unthinkable.
[00:02:31] My old VeggieTales DVDs and VHS tapes.
[00:02:35] All of a sudden, the memories kept flooding back.
[00:02:38] The sudden influx of nostalgia made me take the box downstairs and put it in my room.
[00:02:44] I looked through the collection pretty closely.
[00:02:46] And I realized that I didn't have as much DVDs as I thought I did when I was younger.
[00:02:51] Maybe my aunt and uncle took the rest of them?
[00:02:54] Who knows?
[00:02:55] However, the one I immediately noticed was missing was the very first episode.
[00:03:01] Where's God when I'm scared?
[00:03:04] I thought to myself, you know, if I'm gonna relive some childhood memories,
[00:03:09] I might want to start with the first ever episode.
[00:03:12] I mean, it would be more organized.
[00:03:14] And besides, VeggieTales DVDs run pretty cheap online.
[00:03:18] I could get most of the missing episodes and it wouldn't even make a dent in my bank account.
[00:03:24] After getting that thought, I went to eBay to start purchasing the episodes I was missing.
[00:03:29] eBay always has some good deals.
[00:03:31] I typed the name of it in the search bar and searched it up,
[00:03:35] and one of the first results was a new listing of the original 1993 VHS release of the episode.
[00:03:42] What a find.
[00:03:43] Not only is that a very limited release, only 500 copies of this version were ever made,
[00:03:50] but it's also got zero bids.
[00:03:53] It is only worth a measly $5.
[00:03:56] That's definitely an immediate buy for me.
[00:04:00] With no hesitation and no second thoughts, I made a bid for $10.
[00:04:04] And as I did, coincidentally, the bidding ended and I was the winner.
[00:04:10] Man, it couldn't get any better than this.
[00:04:14] However, my common sense then kicked in,
[00:04:17] and I decided to message the seller to make sure that I was getting what I paid for.
[00:04:22] I was able to find the messages easily and copy and paste them so you could read them.
[00:04:28] For personal reasons, I won't be giving out the seller's name.
[00:04:33] Me.
[00:04:34] Hey.
[00:04:36] Seller.
[00:04:37] Hello.
[00:04:40] So, where did you find this tape?
[00:04:43] Got it at a flea market for a dollar.
[00:04:45] It didn't take a lot to get.
[00:04:47] I see.
[00:04:49] So, are you sure this is the actual VHS tape?
[00:04:52] Because I know that there are a handful of eBay sellers that scam their buyers.
[00:04:57] Oh, no, no.
[00:04:58] It's the actual tape.
[00:05:00] Well, the picture seems legit.
[00:05:02] Could I see some more?
[00:05:04] Sorry.
[00:05:05] I already sent it out.
[00:05:07] However, I have to tell you something.
[00:05:10] Sure.
[00:05:11] What is it?
[00:05:12] The tape itself has a little bit of wear and tear.
[00:05:16] It's been watched so many times that it could skip a bit.
[00:05:20] It has a lot of grain.
[00:05:22] Well, that's what the worker at the flea market told me.
[00:05:27] Have you watched the tape any?
[00:05:30] A long time ago.
[00:05:31] I barely remember what was on the tape, to be honest.
[00:05:36] I see.
[00:05:37] When will this arrive?
[00:05:39] Give it three days, give or take.
[00:05:43] Alright.
[00:05:44] Thanks.
[00:05:44] I have one more question.
[00:05:47] Alright.
[00:05:48] Shoot.
[00:05:49] What flea market did you get this at?
[00:05:52] It was a local one that closed down about a decade ago.
[00:05:56] They were known for selling various VHS tapes and DVDs for dirt cheap prices.
[00:06:01] I got this for my children, but they only watched it once and gave it back to me, telling me to keep it.
[00:06:09] Uh, why is that?
[00:06:11] Once again, I don't remember.
[00:06:15] Wait a minute.
[00:06:16] Don't flea markets only sell bootlegs?
[00:06:20] After I said that, the seller didn't answer my question.
[00:06:25] Odd.
[00:06:26] Well, what a way to put my expectations low.
[00:06:29] It's a 99% chance that I got a piece of shit bootleg instead of the original release.
[00:06:36] Keeping my expectations low, three days have passed since I ordered the video.
[00:06:42] The day it happened, I went to the mailbox to check for the tape.
[00:06:46] The mailman did come by earlier that day, even though it was a Sunday.
[00:06:51] I opened the mailbox and got my mail out.
[00:06:54] It was a bill or two coming from my landlord and a parcel that I assumed contained the VeggieTales videotape.
[00:07:01] Following that, I went back inside the house and took the mail to my upstairs bedroom, opening the mail up.
[00:07:08] And to no surprise, the tape was in the parcel.
[00:07:12] I looked at the tape closely.
[00:07:14] It came in the original box, so I was glad the pictures were accurate.
[00:07:19] But I did notice some differences.
[00:07:21] The box itself was damaged.
[00:07:24] It wasn't completely ripped apart, but it looked like the box wasn't well taken care of.
[00:07:29] The corners of the box were dented, and the overall print of the artwork was kind of fuzzy and blurry.
[00:07:36] Like it was printed out on Google Images with the lowest resolution.
[00:07:40] After that, I took the tape out of the box to inspect that.
[00:07:44] And the paper label in the middle of the tape was ripped off in a crude way.
[00:07:48] Like there was still paper hanging onto the tape.
[00:07:52] Well, I got it for five bucks.
[00:07:55] That came secondhand from a flea market.
[00:07:57] I really shouldn't expect a quality product, but as long as the tape itself played what I wanted,
[00:08:02] I could just throw these complaints about the quality of the tape aside and enjoy myself.
[00:08:09] After taking care of my bills, I put the tape into my VCR and pushed play on the remote.
[00:08:17] Now, let's get into this episode proper.
[00:08:20] The episode itself was able to stick in my mind due to its disturbing nature,
[00:08:26] and I'm able to point out some details on what took place.
[00:08:30] The tape had a huge amount of grain.
[00:08:34] Like, the film was heavily beaten up,
[00:08:36] and the sound itself was so muffled that I had to turn up my television to a higher volume to even understand it.
[00:08:44] Turns out, the seller was telling the truth.
[00:08:47] The tape at first started how I remembered it.
[00:08:49] A catchy intro song with the main characters, Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber,
[00:08:55] and then the episode itself started.
[00:08:57] Hi kids, and welcome to VeggieTales.
[00:09:00] I'm Bob the Tomato, introduced Bob,
[00:09:03] and I'm Larry the Cucumber, introduced Larry,
[00:09:06] and we're here to answer your questions, said Bob.
[00:09:10] Then Bob hopped to a letter that was laying on the counter.
[00:09:14] Today we got a letter from Lisa Evans from Charlotte, North Carolina,
[00:09:19] and it reads,
[00:09:20] says Bob, with a voice coming from a little girl.
[00:09:25] As I kept watching, what I remember from the episode came back to my mind.
[00:09:30] I could tell there was some differences in Bob's voice.
[00:09:34] He sounded forced, like he didn't want to be there,
[00:09:37] even though the animation was still the same as the original tape.
[00:09:42] Huh.
[00:09:43] Maybe it's misremembering, since I haven't watched this episode in years.
[00:09:48] The girl that narrated the letter also sounded off.
[00:09:52] She sounded legitimately scared and on the brink of crying.
[00:09:58] Dear Bob and Larry,
[00:10:00] My mommy said I shouldn't be scared,
[00:10:03] but there's too many scary things in this world.
[00:10:06] Could you help me?
[00:10:07] I don't want to be scared anymore,
[00:10:11] said this little girl.
[00:10:15] Well, Lisa,
[00:10:17] I think I have a story that can help you out,
[00:10:20] said Bob,
[00:10:21] still in this forced way.
[00:10:24] I remember being scared at something a long time ago,
[00:10:28] Larry added.
[00:10:29] He also sounded forced and not very interested.
[00:10:34] What the hell?
[00:10:36] Were the voice actors blackmailed to record this episode?
[00:10:39] I thought it was a passion project.
[00:10:42] Well, Larry,
[00:10:43] both you and Lisa can watch this story about being scared,
[00:10:47] Bob then said,
[00:10:49] and then it abruptly faded to black.
[00:10:51] I took all these differences as misremembering the episode,
[00:10:56] because like I said earlier,
[00:10:58] it's been years since I last saw it.
[00:11:01] Now it's time to get into the main meat of the tape.
[00:11:06] The episode started out almost just as I remembered it.
[00:11:12] Junior was watching a scary movie
[00:11:14] with a Frankenstein celery stick.
[00:11:17] It's kind of silly watching this now as an adult,
[00:11:19] but I can see why a kid would be scared of this.
[00:11:24] Junior's mom would tell him it's time for bed,
[00:11:27] and being the good kid that he is,
[00:11:29] he followed his mom's instructions
[00:11:31] and went to his room
[00:11:32] and decided to lay on his bed,
[00:11:35] urging to go to sleep
[00:11:36] while saying the following line,
[00:11:39] That movie wasn't scary.
[00:11:40] I'm a big boy.
[00:11:42] I can handle it.
[00:11:43] Closing his eyes thereafter.
[00:11:46] Now, I expected Bob and Larry to show up out of nowhere
[00:11:51] and teach Junior the lesson
[00:11:53] that God himself is bigger than every villain
[00:11:55] and scary thing in existence.
[00:11:58] But Bob and Larry never showed up.
[00:12:01] Instead, Junior closed his eyes
[00:12:04] and fell asleep,
[00:12:05] transitioning into the dream world.
[00:12:08] But for some reason,
[00:12:10] Junior's eyes were still open.
[00:12:13] The dream world was like a psychedelic drug trip
[00:12:16] with tons of flashing colors
[00:12:18] and shapes showing up on the screen
[00:12:20] behind and around,
[00:12:22] Junior laying down.
[00:12:24] Then, all of a sudden,
[00:12:26] so sudden,
[00:12:27] it felt like a jump scare.
[00:12:28] The Franken-Celery popped up in front of Junior.
[00:12:32] This is one detail I can't really describe,
[00:12:36] but Franken-Celery,
[00:12:37] he looked a bit more demented,
[00:12:40] angry,
[00:12:41] and even a bit unnerved.
[00:12:43] Franken-Celery spoke in a loud,
[00:12:46] deep,
[00:12:47] booming voice
[00:12:48] that actually sounded louder
[00:12:50] and a lot more clear
[00:12:51] than the rest of the audio.
[00:12:54] Junior,
[00:12:55] you are a weak fool.
[00:12:58] You consider yourself a big boy.
[00:13:00] You talk to yourself,
[00:13:02] keeping your mind in a facade,
[00:13:05] constantly reminding everyone around you
[00:13:07] that you are brave,
[00:13:09] but it's not the truth.
[00:13:11] The truth is,
[00:13:12] you are weak,
[00:13:13] worthless,
[00:13:15] spineless.
[00:13:16] You
[00:13:17] are
[00:13:18] no one.
[00:13:22] He
[00:13:23] follows this tangent
[00:13:24] with a
[00:13:25] nerve-shaking,
[00:13:27] evil laugh,
[00:13:27] which was so loud
[00:13:28] that I had to turn down the TV
[00:13:30] before I went deaf.
[00:13:32] After that,
[00:13:34] Franken-Celery disappeared
[00:13:35] and the camera cut to Junior
[00:13:37] looking up at the ceiling,
[00:13:39] followed by closing his eyes.
[00:13:42] All of a sudden,
[00:13:43] the screen faded to black again
[00:13:46] with white text
[00:13:47] in a Time New Roman font
[00:13:49] that said,
[00:13:50] Two
[00:13:50] Days
[00:13:51] Later.
[00:13:52] It cut to a hospital room
[00:13:54] made in the
[00:13:55] simplistic
[00:13:56] early VeggieTale style.
[00:13:59] Junior was laying
[00:14:00] on the hospital bed,
[00:14:01] looking like he hasn't slept
[00:14:03] in a
[00:14:03] long time.
[00:14:04] His eyes were pink
[00:14:05] and slightly bloodshot.
[00:14:07] He did not have his hat on,
[00:14:09] and he was connected
[00:14:10] to both a
[00:14:11] heart monitor
[00:14:11] and a mask,
[00:14:13] giving him oxygen.
[00:14:15] Bob,
[00:14:16] Larry,
[00:14:16] and Junior's parents
[00:14:18] were all watching over him,
[00:14:20] looking very sad,
[00:14:21] with his mom being the most upset.
[00:14:24] She was crying,
[00:14:25] but unlike the rest
[00:14:26] of the voice acting,
[00:14:28] this crying
[00:14:29] wasn't fake.
[00:14:30] It sounded like a person
[00:14:32] actually breaking down
[00:14:34] into tears.
[00:14:35] A doctor
[00:14:36] then entered the room.
[00:14:37] He looked like
[00:14:38] Archibald Asparagus
[00:14:40] without the monocle,
[00:14:41] but he had a doctor's outfit on.
[00:14:44] Bob said,
[00:14:45] also
[00:14:46] very upset,
[00:14:48] Well,
[00:14:49] doctor,
[00:14:49] how is he?
[00:14:51] Junior was
[00:14:53] originally
[00:14:53] suffering from sleep paralysis,
[00:14:56] but it soon
[00:14:56] turned into a coma
[00:14:58] for some unknown reason.
[00:15:00] He's also having
[00:15:01] breathing problems
[00:15:02] and can barely
[00:15:02] talk.
[00:15:03] This is due to
[00:15:04] an overwhelming amount
[00:15:05] of fear that he had
[00:15:07] during his sleep paralysis.
[00:15:08] I suggest you try
[00:15:09] not to interact
[00:15:10] with him
[00:15:11] in any way,
[00:15:12] said the doctor.
[00:15:14] Well,
[00:15:15] will he ever wake up?
[00:15:17] said Dad Asparagus.
[00:15:19] I
[00:15:20] don't know,
[00:15:21] the doctor answered.
[00:15:22] The rest of the doctors
[00:15:24] are trying their hardest
[00:15:26] to get him to wake up.
[00:15:28] As he
[00:15:29] said that,
[00:15:30] Junior started
[00:15:32] convulsing,
[00:15:33] rapidly shaking
[00:15:34] on the bed,
[00:15:34] and the heart monitor
[00:15:35] kept on beeping
[00:15:36] quickly,
[00:15:37] causing everyone
[00:15:38] to scream
[00:15:39] in terror.
[00:15:40] Oh dear,
[00:15:42] we need to take
[00:15:43] evasive action,
[00:15:44] screamed the doctor.
[00:15:45] But before he could
[00:15:46] do anything else
[00:15:48] or take
[00:15:48] any more
[00:15:49] precautions,
[00:15:50] the heart monitor
[00:15:51] flatlined.
[00:15:53] Junior stopped
[00:15:54] shaking,
[00:15:55] and the whole room
[00:15:56] went quiet,
[00:15:57] aside from the
[00:15:58] haunting sound
[00:16:00] of the flatline.
[00:16:02] The doctor
[00:16:03] abruptly
[00:16:04] broke the silence.
[00:16:06] I'm
[00:16:07] sorry,
[00:16:08] we lost him.
[00:16:10] Too much terror
[00:16:11] was built up
[00:16:12] inside him,
[00:16:13] and it caused
[00:16:14] his heart to beat
[00:16:14] abnormally,
[00:16:15] and he could not
[00:16:16] handle it
[00:16:17] in the state
[00:16:17] he was in.
[00:16:18] The parents
[00:16:19] of Junior
[00:16:20] then started
[00:16:21] crying,
[00:16:21] with Bob
[00:16:22] and Larry
[00:16:23] looking very
[00:16:24] somber.
[00:16:26] I couldn't
[00:16:27] believe my
[00:16:28] eyes.
[00:16:30] Junior
[00:16:30] died?
[00:16:31] There's
[00:16:32] no fucking
[00:16:33] way that this
[00:16:34] could have been
[00:16:35] animated by
[00:16:36] Big Idea.
[00:16:37] It has to be
[00:16:37] a sick joke.
[00:16:39] Then,
[00:16:40] while I was
[00:16:40] ranting,
[00:16:41] the tape
[00:16:41] then stopped.
[00:16:43] I hesitantly
[00:16:44] took the tape
[00:16:45] out of the VCR,
[00:16:46] but as I did,
[00:16:48] the tape's film
[00:16:49] got stuck
[00:16:50] and stretched out,
[00:16:51] destroying the tape
[00:16:52] and causing
[00:16:53] permanent damage
[00:16:54] to my VCR.
[00:16:56] Great.
[00:16:57] A bootleg tape
[00:16:58] that not only
[00:16:59] made me question
[00:17:00] my childhood,
[00:17:01] but also damaged
[00:17:02] my VCR.
[00:17:03] With force,
[00:17:04] I ripped the tape
[00:17:06] out and chucked
[00:17:06] it into my trash
[00:17:07] cam.
[00:17:10] Now,
[00:17:10] with these
[00:17:11] bullshit stories,
[00:17:13] you would expect
[00:17:13] me to be scared
[00:17:14] or disturbed.
[00:17:15] But no,
[00:17:17] I was
[00:17:17] pissed off.
[00:17:19] I got sold
[00:17:19] a bootleg
[00:17:20] that was nothing
[00:17:21] like the episode
[00:17:22] I wanted to watch.
[00:17:23] I have the right
[00:17:24] to be pissed off.
[00:17:25] I went to my
[00:17:27] computer
[00:17:27] and contacted
[00:17:28] the seller.
[00:17:29] This time,
[00:17:30] he actually
[00:17:31] responded to
[00:17:32] my message.
[00:17:34] Just like
[00:17:35] earlier,
[00:17:36] here are
[00:17:36] the messages.
[00:17:38] Okay,
[00:17:39] what the fuck
[00:17:40] did you sell me?
[00:17:41] The tape
[00:17:43] you wanted?
[00:17:44] That's not
[00:17:45] the tape
[00:17:46] I wanted.
[00:17:46] This is a
[00:17:47] shitty bootleg
[00:17:47] that was nothing
[00:17:48] like the real one.
[00:17:51] Describe to me
[00:17:52] what was in
[00:17:53] the episode.
[00:17:54] Well,
[00:17:55] the tape
[00:17:56] was in very
[00:17:57] low quality.
[00:17:57] The episode
[00:17:58] was completely
[00:18:00] different,
[00:18:00] and the tape
[00:18:01] broke while
[00:18:02] it was playing.
[00:18:05] That never
[00:18:06] happened to me.
[00:18:07] I thought
[00:18:08] you said
[00:18:08] you watched it.
[00:18:09] I did,
[00:18:11] but I didn't
[00:18:11] remember the
[00:18:12] things you said.
[00:18:14] Let me ask
[00:18:15] this question
[00:18:15] again.
[00:18:16] Don't
[00:18:17] flea markets
[00:18:18] sell
[00:18:18] bootlegs?
[00:18:20] Yes,
[00:18:21] they do,
[00:18:22] but I thought
[00:18:22] this was a
[00:18:23] legitimate tape.
[00:18:24] You should
[00:18:25] have been
[00:18:25] more careful.
[00:18:27] I'm very
[00:18:28] sorry.
[00:18:28] Do you
[00:18:29] want a
[00:18:29] refund?
[00:18:31] I would,
[00:18:32] but the
[00:18:32] tape broke.
[00:18:34] I can
[00:18:34] still give
[00:18:35] you a
[00:18:35] refund,
[00:18:36] even if
[00:18:37] the tape
[00:18:37] is broken.
[00:18:39] Ah,
[00:18:39] thank you.
[00:18:40] I'll send
[00:18:41] it back to
[00:18:41] you ASAP,
[00:18:42] but the
[00:18:43] before I
[00:18:43] do,
[00:18:44] what was
[00:18:45] the
[00:18:45] flea market
[00:18:45] called?
[00:18:46] It was
[00:18:47] called
[00:18:48] Cheap
[00:18:48] Cheap
[00:18:49] Market,
[00:18:49] though I
[00:18:50] doubt
[00:18:51] you'll be
[00:18:51] able to
[00:18:51] find info
[00:18:52] on them
[00:18:53] due to
[00:18:53] them
[00:18:53] closing
[00:18:54] down
[00:18:54] a
[00:18:55] decade
[00:18:55] ago.
[00:18:56] I'll
[00:18:57] find a
[00:18:58] way.
[00:19:00] After
[00:19:00] about
[00:19:01] 45 minutes
[00:19:02] worth of
[00:19:03] failed
[00:19:03] research,
[00:19:04] I then
[00:19:04] found
[00:19:05] an
[00:19:05] official
[00:19:06] statement
[00:19:06] from
[00:19:07] Big
[00:19:07] Ideas
[00:19:08] website.
[00:19:09] I
[00:19:09] clicked
[00:19:10] on
[00:19:10] the
[00:19:10] site,
[00:19:10] and
[00:19:13] really
[00:19:13] caught
[00:19:14] my
[00:19:14] eye.
[00:19:16] The
[00:19:16] statement
[00:19:17] said,
[00:19:18] Dear
[00:19:18] fans of
[00:19:19] VeggieTales,
[00:19:20] it has
[00:19:20] come to
[00:19:21] our
[00:19:21] attention
[00:19:21] that
[00:19:22] there
[00:19:22] are
[00:19:22] some
[00:19:22] illegal,
[00:19:23] fake VHS
[00:19:25] tapes,
[00:19:25] made of
[00:19:26] our
[00:19:26] older
[00:19:26] VeggieTales
[00:19:27] episodes,
[00:19:28] that
[00:19:28] have
[00:19:28] been
[00:19:29] going
[00:19:29] around
[00:19:29] in
[00:19:30] places
[00:19:30] like
[00:19:30] flea
[00:19:31] markets
[00:19:31] and
[00:19:31] lesser
[00:19:32] known
[00:19:32] selling
[00:19:33] websites,
[00:19:34] with
[00:19:34] the
[00:19:34] results
[00:19:35] being
[00:19:35] stuff
[00:19:35] that
[00:19:36] is
[00:19:36] sad,
[00:19:37] depressing,
[00:19:38] and also
[00:19:38] very
[00:19:39] scary
[00:19:39] and
[00:19:40] disturbing.
[00:19:41] We
[00:19:41] at
[00:19:41] Big
[00:19:42] Idea
[00:19:42] would
[00:19:42] never
[00:19:43] make
[00:19:43] something
[00:19:44] as
[00:19:44] messed
[00:19:44] up
[00:19:45] as
[00:19:45] what
[00:19:45] is
[00:19:45] seen
[00:19:45] on
[00:19:46] those
[00:19:46] bootleg
[00:19:47] tapes.
[00:19:47] We
[00:19:47] are
[00:19:48] taking
[00:19:48] legal
[00:19:48] action
[00:19:49] to
[00:19:49] get
[00:19:49] these
[00:19:49] videos
[00:19:50] banned
[00:19:50] and
[00:19:51] destroyed
[00:19:52] before
[00:19:52] it
[00:19:52] affects
[00:19:53] unsuspected
[00:19:54] children.
[00:19:54] We
[00:19:55] hope
[00:19:55] you
[00:19:55] understand
[00:19:56] and
[00:19:56] if
[00:19:57] you
[00:19:57] ever
[00:19:57] feel
[00:19:58] scared,
[00:19:58] pray
[00:19:59] to
[00:19:59] God
[00:20:00] and
[00:20:00] you
[00:20:00] will
[00:20:01] feel
[00:20:01] better.
[00:20:02] With
[00:20:03] love,
[00:20:04] Big
[00:20:04] Idea.
[00:20:06] It
[00:20:07] still
[00:20:07] doesn't
[00:20:08] make
[00:20:08] sense
[00:20:09] to
[00:20:09] me.
[00:20:09] Why
[00:20:10] would
[00:20:10] some
[00:20:11] fucked
[00:20:11] up
[00:20:11] human
[00:20:12] being
[00:20:12] make
[00:20:13] demented
[00:20:13] bootleg
[00:20:14] videos
[00:20:15] of
[00:20:15] VeggieTales
[00:20:15] episodes?
[00:20:16] What
[00:20:17] would
[00:20:17] they
[00:20:17] gain
[00:20:17] for
[00:20:18] it?
[00:20:18] Do
[00:20:18] they
[00:20:19] find
[00:20:19] enjoyment
[00:20:19] out
[00:20:20] of
[00:20:20] making
[00:20:20] this?
[00:20:21] I
[00:20:22] went
[00:20:22] and
[00:20:22] did
[00:20:23] more
[00:20:23] research
[00:20:24] looking
[00:20:24] for
[00:20:24] this.
[00:20:25] I
[00:20:25] even
[00:20:25] looked
[00:20:26] into
[00:20:26] the
[00:20:26] deep
[00:20:27] web
[00:20:27] and
[00:20:28] what
[00:20:28] I
[00:20:28] found
[00:20:28] was
[00:20:29] something
[00:20:29] that
[00:20:30] made
[00:20:30] so
[00:20:30] much
[00:20:31] sense
[00:20:31] from
[00:20:32] what
[00:20:32] I
[00:20:32] saw.
[00:20:33] It
[00:20:33] was
[00:20:34] a
[00:20:34] blog
[00:20:34] post
[00:20:34] made
[00:20:35] by
[00:20:35] a
[00:20:35] person
[00:20:36] who
[00:20:36] I
[00:20:36] will
[00:20:37] not
[00:20:37] say
[00:20:37] by
[00:20:37] name
[00:20:38] because
[00:20:38] I
[00:20:38] don't
[00:20:39] want
[00:20:39] to
[00:20:39] give
[00:20:39] the
[00:20:39] fucker
[00:20:40] any
[00:20:40] publicity.
[00:20:41] The
[00:20:42] blog
[00:20:42] post
[00:20:43] was
[00:20:43] very
[00:20:43] long
[00:20:44] so
[00:20:44] I
[00:20:45] am
[00:20:45] going
[00:20:45] to
[00:20:45] summarize
[00:20:46] it.
[00:20:47] The
[00:20:47] post
[00:20:48] said
[00:20:48] things
[00:20:49] about
[00:20:49] special
[00:20:51] episodes
[00:20:52] of
[00:20:52] Veggie
[00:20:52] Tales
[00:20:53] that
[00:20:53] were
[00:20:53] sold
[00:20:54] for
[00:20:54] monetary
[00:20:55] gain
[00:20:55] but
[00:20:56] it
[00:20:56] also
[00:20:56] mentioned
[00:20:57] that
[00:20:57] the
[00:20:57] episodes
[00:20:58] had
[00:20:58] a
[00:20:58] lot
[00:20:59] of
[00:20:59] changes
[00:21:00] made
[00:21:00] by
[00:21:01] the
[00:21:01] poster.
[00:21:02] These
[00:21:02] changes
[00:21:02] he
[00:21:03] described
[00:21:03] as
[00:21:04] made
[00:21:05] for
[00:21:05] the
[00:21:06] darkest
[00:21:06] parts
[00:21:07] of
[00:21:07] the
[00:21:07] internet
[00:21:08] and
[00:21:08] had
[00:21:08] to
[00:21:09] do
[00:21:09] with
[00:21:09] death
[00:21:09] and
[00:21:10] suffering.
[00:21:11] And
[00:21:12] it
[00:21:12] also
[00:21:13] said
[00:21:14] in
[00:21:14] that
[00:21:14] blog
[00:21:15] post
[00:21:15] that
[00:21:16] if
[00:21:16] anyone
[00:21:16] were
[00:21:17] to
[00:21:17] speak
[00:21:17] about
[00:21:17] this
[00:21:18] outside
[00:21:19] of
[00:21:19] the
[00:21:19] deep
[00:21:19] web
[00:21:20] that
[00:21:20] they
[00:21:20] will
[00:21:21] pay
[00:21:21] the
[00:21:22] ultimate
[00:21:22] price
[00:21:23] for
[00:21:23] it.
[00:21:25] But
[00:21:25] why
[00:21:26] Veggie
[00:21:26] Tales?
[00:21:27] Why
[00:21:27] would
[00:21:34] turn
[00:21:34] out
[00:21:34] the
[00:21:35] person
[00:21:35] who
[00:21:35] made
[00:21:36] these
[00:21:36] tapes
[00:21:36] was
[00:21:37] a
[00:21:37] hardcore
[00:21:37] satanist
[00:21:38] who
[00:21:38] hated
[00:21:39] anything
[00:21:39] having
[00:21:40] to do
[00:21:40] with
[00:21:40] Christianity
[00:21:41] and
[00:21:42] was
[00:21:42] arrested
[00:21:43] previously
[00:21:44] for
[00:21:44] assault
[00:21:45] charges
[00:21:46] and
[00:21:46] theft.
[00:21:47] But
[00:21:48] his
[00:21:48] worst
[00:21:48] case
[00:21:49] was
[00:21:49] kidnapping
[00:21:50] innocent
[00:21:51] people
[00:21:51] and
[00:21:52] making
[00:21:52] them
[00:21:52] both
[00:21:53] act
[00:21:53] in
[00:21:53] and
[00:21:54] produce
[00:21:54] these
[00:21:55] demented
[00:21:55] tapes
[00:21:56] or
[00:21:56] they
[00:21:57] would
[00:21:57] be
[00:21:57] tortured
[00:21:57] if
[00:21:58] they
[00:21:58] didn't
[00:21:58] obey.
[00:22:00] Now
[00:22:01] I
[00:22:01] know
[00:22:02] why
[00:22:02] the
[00:22:02] voice
[00:22:03] acting
[00:22:03] felt
[00:22:04] forced
[00:22:05] and
[00:22:05] that
[00:22:05] also
[00:22:06] explains
[00:22:06] the
[00:22:07] actual
[00:22:07] crying.
[00:22:09] Due
[00:22:09] to
[00:22:09] him
[00:22:10] hating
[00:22:10] Christianity
[00:22:11] Veggie
[00:22:11] Tales
[00:22:12] was
[00:22:12] his
[00:22:12] main
[00:22:13] target
[00:22:13] and
[00:22:14] he
[00:22:14] used
[00:22:14] it
[00:22:14] to
[00:22:14] vent
[00:22:15] out
[00:22:15] his
[00:22:15] frustrations
[00:22:16] and
[00:22:17] express
[00:22:17] his
[00:22:17] hatred
[00:22:18] for
[00:22:18] Christians.
[00:22:19] And
[00:22:20] since
[00:22:20] he
[00:22:20] was
[00:22:20] a
[00:22:21] felon
[00:22:21] he
[00:22:21] couldn't
[00:22:22] get
[00:22:22] a
[00:22:22] job
[00:22:23] and
[00:22:23] selling
[00:22:23] these
[00:22:23] tapes
[00:22:24] was
[00:22:24] his
[00:22:24] only
[00:22:24] way
[00:22:25] of
[00:22:25] getting
[00:22:25] any
[00:22:26] kind
[00:22:26] of
[00:22:26] money.
[00:22:27] He
[00:22:27] was
[00:22:28] then
[00:22:28] arrested
[00:22:28] again
[00:22:29] in
[00:22:29] the
[00:22:29] summer
[00:22:29] of
[00:22:30] 2010
[00:22:30] with
[00:22:31] all
[00:22:31] of
[00:22:31] his
[00:22:31] tapes
[00:22:32] being
[00:22:32] confiscated
[00:22:33] by
[00:22:34] the
[00:22:34] local
[00:22:34] police
[00:22:35] department.
[00:22:36] However
[00:22:37] some
[00:22:37] of
[00:22:38] the
[00:22:38] tapes
[00:22:38] slipped
[00:22:39] through
[00:22:39] the
[00:22:39] cracks
[00:22:40] and
[00:22:40] were
[00:22:40] sold
[00:22:41] by
[00:22:41] other
[00:22:41] people
[00:22:42] in
[00:22:42] flea
[00:22:43] markets
[00:22:43] and
[00:22:44] other
[00:22:44] rundown
[00:22:45] stores
[00:22:45] both
[00:22:46] physical
[00:22:46] and
[00:22:47] online
[00:22:47] not
[00:22:48] aware
[00:22:48] that
[00:22:49] these
[00:22:49] were
[00:22:50] illegal
[00:22:50] bootlegs.
[00:22:51] Now
[00:22:52] I
[00:22:52] know
[00:22:53] why
[00:22:53] the
[00:22:53] flea
[00:22:54] market
[00:22:54] was
[00:22:54] closed
[00:22:55] down.
[00:22:56] After
[00:22:56] coming
[00:22:57] to
[00:22:57] this
[00:22:58] conclusion
[00:22:58] I
[00:22:59] felt
[00:22:59] a
[00:22:59] sense
[00:22:59] of
[00:23:00] relief
[00:23:00] and
[00:23:01] catharsis
[00:23:02] from
[00:23:02] it.
[00:23:03] Nowadays
[00:23:04] I
[00:23:05] feel
[00:23:06] a lot
[00:23:06] better.
[00:23:07] I
[00:23:07] don't
[00:23:08] let
[00:23:08] this
[00:23:08] one
[00:23:08] incident
[00:23:09] affect
[00:23:09] my
[00:23:10] overall
[00:23:10] feelings
[00:23:11] of
[00:23:11] edgy
[00:23:12] tales
[00:23:12] but
[00:23:13] there
[00:23:13] is
[00:23:13] something
[00:23:14] in
[00:23:14] me
[00:23:15] that
[00:23:15] makes
[00:23:15] me
[00:23:16] regret
[00:23:16] ever
[00:23:17] buying
[00:23:18] the
[00:23:18] tape.
[00:23:19] It
[00:23:19] doesn't
[00:23:19] bother
[00:23:20] me
[00:23:20] as
[00:23:20] much
[00:23:21] but
[00:23:21] it's
[00:23:22] one
[00:23:22] thing
[00:23:22] I
[00:23:23] wish
[00:23:23] I
[00:23:23] could
[00:23:23] go
[00:23:24] back
[00:23:24] in
[00:23:24] time
[00:23:25] to
[00:23:25] fix.
